- Enter username in the first field.
- Enter the email address along with the domain name.
- Now, it’s the time to enter incoming as well as outgoing server settings. If you are prompted to select the account type, select ‘IMAP’.
- Incoming mail server: IMAP.SBCGlobal.net
- Outgoing mail server: SMTP.SBCGlobal.net.
Enter the login details or credentials in the next couple of boxes. Enter an email address in the username field.
Enter password: Enter the password for login to the account. You must enter the password conscientiously.
Now, go to advanced settings from the outgoing mail server tab and select the box which says, ‘Use same settings for outgoing mail’. Click to select the box, ‘Require authentication’.

IMAP settings for phone email
Don’t add SMTP or POP in incoming as well as outgoing server address, add a mobile number as a prefix instead in the address field. The following information is to be entered in the given fields.
Select 993 for the port number.
Select 587 for outgoing server.
Don’t forget to enable SSL security for mobile account.
Click to enable ‘Require authentication’ box.
